Ransomware Takes Down 3 Law Firms (in 24 hours)
The Maze Ransomware Team continues its brutal attacks, most recently compromising 3 law firms almost simultaneously.
"The hackers infiltrate systems using email with malicious attachments."
These attackers not only ransom each company's network, but they also steal data to release if the victim doesn't pay up.
"A portion of the firms’ stolen data has already been posted online, including client information."
The cyber criminals are inflicting maximum pain to force ransom payment.
The group has also published data in Russian hacker forums with a note to “Use this information in any nefarious ways that you want.”
