IP Whitelisting

In Office 365, you’ll use their “Connection Filter” options:

  1. Sign into Office 365 and click "Admin" > "Admin Centers" > "Exchange"
  2. Under the "Protection" list, choose "Connection Filter"
  3. Click the “Pencil Icon” to edit
  4. Choose "Connection Filtering" on the left side menu
  5. Click the plus "+" symbol and add the first IP and click "OK"(find our current IP addresses for whitelisting here.)
  6. Repeat Step 5 to add our second IP address.
  7. Check the "Enable Safe List" checkbox, if necessary

  8. Finally, click "Save"

Bypassing the Junk Folder

Next, you’ll set up a mail flow rule to allow our mail to bypass the Junk folder.

  1. Go to “Admin” then “Mail” then “Mail Flow
  2. Click the “(+) Create New Rule” button beneath “Mail Flow” > “Rules
  3. Give the rule a name, such as "INFIMA - Skip Filtering"
  4. Click on “More options
  5. Click the dropdown “Apply this rule if....”Select “The sender”, then click “More Options” and select “IP address is in any of these ranges or exactly matches” Specify INFIMA's Sender IP addresses (same as above and again here.)Screen-Shot-2020-06-17-at-2.00.16-PM-1
  6. Click "OK" to save
  7. From the “Do the following...” dropdown, select "Modify the message properties" > “Set the message header to this value…
  8. Set "X-Forefront-Antispam-Report" to the value "SFV:SKI"

  9. Finally, click “Save”, if necessary

Bypassing Spam and Clutter Filtering

Finally, you’ll set up a mail flow rule to allow our mail to bypass Spam Filtering and the Clutter folder.

  1. Go to “Admin” then “Mail” then “Mail Flow
  2. Click the “(+) Create New Rule” button beneath “Mail Flow” > “Rules
  3. Give the rule a name, such as "INFIMA - Bypass Spam"
  4. Click on “More options
  5. Click the dropdown “Apply this rule if....”Select “The sender”, then click “More Options” and select “IP address is in any of these ranges or exactly matches” Specify INFIMA's Sender IP addresses (same as above and again here.)Screen-Shot-2020-06-17-at-2.37.39-PM
  6. Click "OK" to save
  7. From the “Do the following...” dropdown, select "Modify the message properties" > “Set the message header to this value…
  8. Set "X-MS-Exchange-Organization-BypassClutter" to the value "true"

  9. Click "add action"
  10. On the new action, select "Modify the message properties" > "Set the spam confidence level (SCL) to..." and select "Bypass spam filtering" from the dropdown.Screen-Shot-2020-06-17-at-2.44.21-PM
  11. Click "Ok"
  12. Under Priority, set this rule to "0".Screen-Shot-2020-06-17-at-2.47.03-PM
  13. Finally, click “Save”, if necessary
