Schools Set New Cyber Record in 2019

Unfortunately, it's not a good one.

Over 1,000 schools fell victim to a ransomware attack this year. This is a terribly large number, but also not as shocking as it might seem.

“The attackers know that schools and municipalities are typically more vulnerable to security attacks because of their limited budgets and lack of IT staff.”

No organization is immune to Phishing attacks, but this paints a particularly bleak picture for our schools.

With schools, "threat actors [have] a tremendous advantage over their victims because they know these entities cannot afford to shut down and are often more likely to pay the ransom.”

INFIMA's fully automated platform can protect your school from Phishing attacks.
