Scheduled events allow administrators to automate recurring tasks using cron-based scheduling. This powerful feature enables you to set up automated processes that run at specified intervals, reducing manual work and ensuring consistent execution of important tasks. These changes follow our commitment to allow customization alongside our strong automation.
Task Automation
Automate recurring administrative tasks to run at specified intervals. Configure schedules using common presets or advanced cron expressions, and trigger scheduled events immediately when needed without waiting for the next scheduled run.
Available Event Types
Currently available scheduled event types include:
- Send Manager Reminders: Automatically send reminder notifications to managers at scheduled intervals
- Scheduled Phishing Emails: Send phishing simulation emails at specified intervals
Flexible Scheduling Options
Choose from preset common schedules or configure custom schedules using cron expressions:
- Every Monday at 9:00 AM
- First day of month at 9:00 AM
- Every Tuesday at 6:00 PM
- Twice a month (1st & 15th) at 3:00 PM
- Custom cron expressions for advanced scheduling
On-Demand Execution
Use the Trigger Now button to execute a scheduled event immediately without waiting for the next scheduled run time. This is useful for testing newly created events, running events on-demand outside the regular schedule, or responding to immediate needs.
Expandable System
The scheduled events system is designed to support additional event types in the future. New automation capabilities will be added as they become available.
