ITNation Secure 2022 Takeaways

5 consistent topics on Security Awareness Training from the IT Nation.

The team just got back from a packed IT Nation Secure in Orlando.

Our conversations with Partners, both old and new, at these events gives us a real-time sense of the challenges and opportunities our Partners face. Ultimately, the feedback from our Partners shapes the future of our company and our products.

We found several consistent themes in these conversations. We've shared these insights with the INFIMA product team, and we want to share them with you, too.

Below, we share Team INFIMA's takeaways from IT Nation Secure:

Cybersecurity Insurance

Our MSP Partners are regularly advising on and filling out these insurance apps on behalf of their clients. When it comes to Security Awareness Training, our current Partners are simply attaching each client's Security Awareness Training Policy (provided in the INFIMA dashboard). New Partners are relieved to finally have an answer to this part of the cybersecurity insurance app.

Further to the insurance conversation, many Partners expressed concerns over the potential for errors or missed training with other vendors. Most products on the market are manually intensive, and this can lead to missed training deadlines or inconsistent phishing testing. The true concern here is a dispute with an insurance company after a breach. In the event that the Partner did not adequately manage their Security Awareness Training program, there is potential for a subrogation claim by the insurance carrier. Many new Partners switched to INFIMA for our fully automated solution, removing the concern over forgotten training and phishing.

Service Level Agreements (SLAs)

More clients are delving into their SLAs. This means Partners have to keep all their services buttoned up. This is where complete automation comes into play. Several new Partners stated that they had sold Security Awareness Training into their clients, but they hadn't turned it on - out of fear of the new workload it would require with another vendor! This drove many Partners to switch to INFIMA for a fully automated solution. This includes reliable user syncs, comprehensive Training and consistent Phishing.

User Syncs

We continually hear about the enormous amounts of time it takes to manage competing platforms. Interestingly, one of the primary drivers of this is inconsistent or unavailable user syncs. We've relieved this headache with INFIMA's Office 365 and Google Workspace user syncs. New employees come on board - they're automatically added into Training and Phishing. And when someone departs, they're automatically removed and no longer invoiced.

Compliance

We heard about NIST, CMMC, HIPAA and all the rest. We heard you, and we have it for you! In short, we've just made it easy to hit the topics necessary. INFIMA's Security Awareness Training Policy does much of the heavy lifting, and it's even white-labeled for our Partners!

Integrations

In order for MSPs to expand margins, every tool needs to be integrated. We continually hear of these needs. In addition to our Office 365 and Google Workspace integrations, we unveiled our ConnectWise Manage integration. We aren't stopping there - we will continue building the integrations that serve our Partners needs.

Thank you to our Partners - new and old! We value every ounce of feedback from you, so please keep it coming!

And if you're not yet an INFIMA Partner, let's change that!
